RAF Camera in the 1950s by Keith Wilson has a pic of TG616 photographed in April 1951 shortly after conversion by the manufacturer to its weather reconnaissance role. The text with the pic reads

“After joining 511 Sqn as a standard transport aircraft in January 1950, TG616 was returned to Handley Page for conversion in November. Following completion of the work, the aircraft was transferred to 5MU in April 1951 and remained in store until returned to C1 standard in late 1954 to fly with 53/99 Sqns at RAF Lyneham. Further service with 114 and 36 Sqns at nearby RAF Colerne followed, until the aircraft was transferred to training duties with 242 OCU at RAF Dishforth in September 1961. In 1967, TG616 was withdrawn from use and moved to RAF Marham for firefighting practice.”
