I am not very fond of accident lists since they usually include accidents happened due to different aspects and many times not related or in which the machine itself is not responsible. Normally these lists doesn´t prove anything. As Kabir says, maintenance is a key factor, not aircraft type. In the case of the TU-154 usually has to fly in very poor conditions, in countries where there are many limitations (weather, maintenance, orography, faulty equiped airports), in airlines which submit them to extreme levels of safety, so it´s pretty normal this high degree of accidents.
