RE: Bush versus Castro

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-06-02 AT 07:28 PM (GMT)]The Cubans traded the Dictator Batista for Dictator Castro. Castro and his close cronies are wealthy with huge bank accounts. Cuba was the showpiece of communism in the western hemisphere. It was heavily subsidized by the Soviet Union until 1989. When the Soviet money stopped, the communist utopia bubble burst and Cuba crumbled to it’s present impovershed state. Only the US upheld the embargo. No other nations recognize the embargo and Cuba still flounders as nobody wants to have their investments stolen by the Castro cronies. I guess Castro communism is not so wonderful after all.
