RE: Jal’s proposed new colour scheme.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-10-02 AT 07:33 PM (GMT)]I have just been on the JAL website, and have read up on the new livery, the picture that I have posted is in fact the final design, and the first aircraft that it will be applied to is a 777-200 aircraft, which is then due to take to the skies in early November of this year.

And the first aircraft to have the new livery applied, that runs on international routes will be a DC-10.

The new livery design is entitled “The Arc of the Sun” and has been changed because of JAL joining together with JAS.

Together these airlines make up the new name, Japan Airlines System Corperation.
