The ‘beautiful game’? Don’t make me laugh…

Flood, if fair play existed then he would have allowed the goal.

😡 If fair play existed in English football then the referee would not have had to shelter behind police protection because his word would have been immediately accepted as law. 😡
What is it you want – a freaking red carpet for Thick Head to follow all the way to the goal, clearly marked out as a no-go area for the opposition? But of course the FA overturns referees decisions every week!;) How silly of me!
The proper authorities to make any decision about that event would have long ago announced that they disagreed with his judgement – but they haven’t: live with it. All the people who sent messages to his home should be traced and the appropriate action taken (it won’t happen but the threat would be a real sphincter-tightener to those scum); The Sun should change its ink to make it more suited for use in public toilets; the editor, the sports editor, and the reporters concerned should lose their jobs purely as a warning that this is what happens when you incite a riot against someone innocently carrying out their job – and that is before criminal preceedings begin (but this too will never happen). Any Sun readers care to comment?

It is just a little thing, but maybe it is the sort of repetitive and stupid irritation that would tip the appropriate authorities into telling the England team that they bring nothing but sour grapes and criminal intent to the party; and not to return until it is sorted? After all, what would happen if all international referees got together and agreed not to take charge of an England game because of the bad attitude of the fans and the potential for complete character assasination by the ‘popular’ media?
Would that make you all sit up and take notice? Would that change attitudes?
Oh yeah – nice to see, Minidoh, that you still manage to bring the whole event back into an anti Europe rant at the end; clearly I forgot that the referee was a European first, referee second…
