On 11 April, 100-year-old, Minneapolis-Saint Paul-born US Army Air Forces P-51D Mustang pilot Col Joe Peterburs visited Duxford to fly with Isabel Rutland in the back of P-51D 44-13521/G-MRLL Marinell.
Salmson D7 Cri-Cri Major F-AZAB of the Salis family’s Casques de Cuir collection made its maiden flight at La Ferté-Alais with Edmond Salis at the controls on 11 April, following a seven-year restoration. It is the only example flying.
