I had a nice thing arrive last week, and thought I would share it with you all. RAM Models have just released a decal sheet depicting Nimrod R.1 XV249 in her retirement scheme, the famous Red Goose scheme, which she still wears proudly in retirement at RAFM Cosford.
Fortunately it comes with all the stencils, so you don’t have to mess about with the crap decals which come with the Airfix kit. The geese look excellent!
And the Waddington and Wyton station badges on the tail are really nicely depicted too

Well worth looking at if you want something a bit more exciting than a stock grey Nimrod on your shelf.
