I finished this B-17 back in July 2011, but can’t remember whether I shared any pictures at the time. It is the Airfix rebox of the Academy kit, much modified with much thrown away! I think I had more bits left at the end of the build, than those from the kit that ended up in the finished model.

I’ve seen this beauty posted up somewhere before, but it’d be rude to pass up the opportunity to say WOW again! 🙂
I suspect if you’re anything like me the leftovers will have found a new use rather than going in the bin… 😉
