100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum

The Winter overhaul is nearing completion and the volunteers are looking towards a busy season. 2017 will be the 75th Anniversary of both the American 8th A/F and the 100th Bomb Group to which this atmospheric Museum is a living memorial to those who served and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice flying from the base.
The Museum nestling in the East Anglian countryside on the Norfolk/Suffolk Border (just 5 miles East of Diss) has seen many veterans over the years but more recently due to age we see less but we now see many families of the personnel that flew from the base and we are pleased to be able to fill them in on their ancestors time at the base.
The gates reopen on 4th of March 2017 and we look forward to seeing many new faces in this Anniversary year. the museum will then be open every Weekend & Bank Holiday until the end of October and additionally Wednesdays May—September (Inclusive) Admission is free and if your local and enjoy what you see then why not think of becoming a Volunteer. LEST WE FORGET
