109 Fuselage Section

This arrived this morning.

I believe it is a section of fuselage from the lower port side of a 109 just aft of the access hatch and foot hole.

the little sprod was possibly the access hatch leather leader clamp ?

The plan and lengths match with the drawings I have.

There are also some cables and rods.

Actually, after looking a bit more, I believe it is bottom of left side, frames 3 and 4.

Good evening sir – Thanks for agreeing. The distance between the ribs also matches the plans. I was told it was an F ?

It had remains of white paint on the lower portion. Absoloutely no markings – but I did not expect any.

The rectangular part has no markings and no holes…

Nice piece, I would have to look closer, but I believe you are correct that it does seem to be right side, lower. probably station 2 and and 3.

One thing to keep in mind is some late model 109’s (K mainly, but possibly others) didnt always have the foot and hand hold on the right side.

I am curious what that rectangular mount point/part is.
