126 squadron Mustangs

If it is the photograph that I think it is, Andrew Thomas gives the serial number KH570. It was the aircraft of the Squadron’s Norwegian CO Major Arne Austeen who flew it for the first time 23rd Feb 1945. The photo is credited to M J F Bowyer.

Any known pictures of the Mustangs of 126 squadron, late war? 44-45?

The only picture that I can find is reproduced in the Scale Aircraft Monograph – “Camouflage & Markings No. 1 – RAF Fighters 1945-1950 – UK Based”. It is of KM305, 5J-X taken circa August 1945.
