I am trying to find the details of flights by 13 OTU.
When viewing the Squadron ORB’s at Kew, they refer to numbers, not names, and give me no real information.
Has anyone got any ideas where these may be held?
My Father’s service history is as follows:-
51 GP Pool (General Purpose) – 5th October 1940
2 SFTS (Service Flying Training School, Brize Norton, Oxfordshire in 1941) – 13th November 1940
13 OTU, (Operational Training Unit, Biscester, Oxfordshire), (including lectures on how to behave in the event of capture, escape and evasion and special interrogation by the Enemy, in may 1941) – 12th April 1941.
17th June 1941, Sgt. K Fenton, Sgt. A A Fuller and Sgt. R W McDonald posted to 139 (Jamaica) Squadron, Horsham St. Faith and became operational.
Regards,
Nick
