29 squadron, Ternhill

Blenheim L6637, Sgt R.E. Stevens, Sgt O.K. Sly, missing, AC2 A Jackson killed, shot down in error by Hurricanes of 312 squadron, crashed in flames off the Point of Aire, near the Morecambe Light, 18.00 hrs.

Another 29 sqn Blenheim was also damaged in the same attack. AC2 Jackson is another of that rank who should have been promoted to Sgt.
