One of our local Ellington F-16’s went down today in western Louisiana around 1300 local time. The crash is in the vacenity of Fort Polk. The pilot ejected safely which is great news. We had a Fort Polk UH-60 come in around 1800 to pick up 147th personel to take to the scene. No word on the identity of the pilot or which aircraft (sn#) was lost.
