I am looking for info on 150 octane fuel intended for use in 2nd TAC (Spits XIV and LF IX).
I have document ordering plane mods and detailing use requirements but I need confirmation that the fuel was actually used and that the aircraft did in fact run with 25 lbs boost (5min WEP). [130 fuel and 18lbs boost on WEP was norm].
I know that 150 octane was used from bases in UK, but I am not sure if 2nd TAC bases in Europe actually got the fuel and used it before end of hostilities.
Yes this is for gaming – sorry – hope you see this as a legit question considering how the info will be used.
