152 Squadron

Hi,

Is the photo deleted now from this post ?

I just found out yesterday that my grandfather was with 152 squadron during its brief WW1 existence joining from 112 Squadron as part of the ground crew (Air Mechanic/1st Class 68817 Harold H Holman).

http://www.152hyderabad.co.uk/html/airfields_visted.html usefully confirmed they were based in Carvin for the last month of the war, but is understandably WW2 focused.

Do you know any pointers to WW1 picture of the unit ?

All the best,

Paul

PS http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/people/364-looking-sopwith-camel-pilot.html mentions Lt. AI Meacham as a 152 pilot.

Whilst http://www.32.airwar1.org.uk/ixbgdenov18.htm lists them under Maj E Henty
