I HAVE CHANGED THE AVATAR NOW I HOPE HE STOPS CRYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lee, pinching an avatar that someone else has created is a bad thing to do whether you’re 14 or 104.

Please don’t do anything like this in the future, or you’ll incur the wrath of the Mods.

Actually, I like Murph’s idea, too…….

Might I just say…

Last time I flew LHR to Singapore with BA, there was a massive backlog in T4 Check-in. As a result we actually got to the check-in desk around 25mins AFTER the alloted time of closure.

But we STILL asked if we wanted window seats.

When your 14, I suppose a window is the “Holy Grail”, but in all realism (esp’ on Long Haul) the coveted Ailse Seat is the one you want. As any of us “Older” flyers will tell you. 😉

He wasn’t crying, he was just annoyed that you used it without his permission. Most, not all are young on here so just grow up abit, age is no excuse.

Just how much foundation would you like?
kev35

Calm down dear, it’s only a forum.

The ‘without foundation’ was referring to alleged moderator inactivity on this thread, not your often-aired problems from a while back.

“Your anti-Key Moderator stance is getting tedious when you have a point to make. When it is completely without foundation it is just a waste of bandwidth Kev.”

Just how much foundation would you like?

Moggy, perhaps you feel a little self conscious? If you read and understand what was written you will note that I said DECISIVE action was taken by two Moderators who issued a permanent ban. My point is that this member reapplied with a different identity. It was known by Rikki who this person was but he was still allowed to rejoin.

“5) Posts containing swearwords or insults whether aimed at individuals or aimed indiscriminately at nations, ethnic groups, gender, religions and/or cultures will be edited or deleted. Persistent or serious offenders will be banned.

11) Any posts involving personal violence or threats, in any shape and form will be deleted immediately. Any users who get involved in these discussions will risk being banned immediately.”

The above is taken directly from the Code of Conduct which one would hope the administration of this forum have to adhere to as well as the Membership.

Now Moggy, call me sensitive if you will, but having someone threaten to come and “F**k up my disabled a*s” would seem to be a serious breach of the Code of conduct on several levels.

Do you get the picture now? That is why the Code of Conduct means absolutely nothing, when the Webmaster can flout said Code of Conduct on a whim or fail to apply the same Code of Conduct evenly. Two Moderators (You weren’t moderating that board at the time) issued an immediate permanent ban. What confidence can the Moderating team have when the Webmaster reverses the decision?

(Edited twice due to incandescance!)

To begin with, he asked a good question, we all have asked that some day, but the fact is he asked by creating a number of threads asking the same question, which is uncalled for!!

Also using by738’s avatar without asking, then being rude about it, is not needed. Yes welcome to the forum mate, but please adhere to the Code of Conduct. Thats why its there!

I thoroughly agree wysiwyg. But the Moderators and/or Webmaster are only interested in a quiet life.

I can only assume that you have somehow failed to notice that the moderators are very active in this.

Lee as yet has failed to respond to PMs, further action will follow.

Why should a newbie be exempt from having to think before posting?

It’s not unfair for us to want to maintain the high standards that have taken several years to produce in this forum. All newcomers are welcome provided they follow the Code of Conduct at the top of the screen. I think it’s a fairly safe bet that Lee hasn’t even noticed it and if he has then he isn’t interested in abiding by it.

I thoroughly agree wysiwyg. But the Moderators and/or Webmaster are only interested in a quiet life.

A case in point. The “high standards that have taken several years to produce” were not maintained when a regular contributor to this forum threatened me with physical violence and ridiculed my disability. That poster was banned immediately and permanently by two moderators. The same poster is back with a different identity and to give him credit he has apologised profusely and even offered to leave when I discovered he was back. As far as I am aware he has behaved impeccably since and posted some interesting comments. I won’t name him and if he reads this in the spirit in which it is intended, he will see I am not out to cause him any problems. My point is that this member was allowed to rejoin even though the Webmaster knew who he was and the extent of the savage personal attack he made. So, that really shows what the Code of Conduct means to the Webmaster, and, apparently, that is very little indeed.

Now now children…

Guys, please get off Lee’s back. Lee, please read the Code of Conduct and stop winding the guys up.

Perhaps we should bring it back to the real issue?

Allow me.

The 767-300 (763) has two aisles, usually with 2/3/2 or 2/4/2 seating depending on the carrier. There are usually about 40 odd rows which makes for 80+ window seats. Check in nice and early and you shouldn’t have a problem.

Enjoy your flights, have a great holiday and welcome to the forum.

1L.
