I went again this week(well today) and i saw less than last time and they were:(considering i have seen most of them last time)
G-IGOP B737 Easyjet
G-FIJV 188 Electra Atlantic Airlines
G-EZJA B737 Easyjet
G-EZJZ B737 Easyjet
PH-RAR Beech 1900C Euro Manx
TF-ELD B737 Islandsflug/Ryanair
G-IGOB B737 Go/Easyjet
G-EZJA B737 Easyjet
G-OSLH B737 Easyjet.
That was it for 2 hours at the airport.I did not get what i actually wanted but it would do.I was waiting for:
British Airways
My Travel
Vega Air
Aer Lingus Commuter (which i was surprised to hear about)
When is the best time of year to go as i can easily access Liverpool Airport to make it worth while.
Something amazing i saw today was an Airbus Beluga flying over Liverpool…it was amazing. No registration due to reflection.

The An-124 takes 3000m (9840ft) to take-off generally but this must be full load as I think the Liverpool runway is only around 2500m long. However, that isn’t the main concern. The main problem is that it has to have atleast 4 minutes at the end of the runway to prepare it’s engines prior to take-off, and so there has to be a large gap in the arrivals to allow for this. It’d be ok at an airport such as Liverpool when there is not all that much traffic, but at Stansted it is now a problem. When I first started spotting up Stansted they were in there all the time, but now they are slowly being pushed out because the airport is too busy to have it sitting around on the runway.

I know of 2 Boeing 747sof Corsair landing there for Liverpool fan trips, expecially for the UEFA cup final in 2001 was it? Thinking about it www.nwan.co.uk has just about all the bits on there!

Plenty “big” has and does land at LPL – just not that regularly – as i’ve said above i’ve seen B747s, 767s, A330s, Tristars, DC-10s, VC-10s etc land there – oh year and the AN-124 landed there a couple of years in a row to do the Xmas shoebox airlift at Christmas!

Hi mate – i finished at 0700 this morning, so if you got the RYR you must have been around the same time. Aircraft off the top of my head were….
G-SUEW – MYT – A320 – STAND 6
G-IGOP – EZY – B733 – N/S on S6
G-IGOT – EZY – B733 – N/S on S4
G-EZJR – EZY – B737 – N/S
G-EZJX – EZY – B737 – N/S
G-EZKA – EZY – B737 – N/S
G-EZJV – EZY – B737 – N/S
G-OSLH – EZY – B737 – N/S
I-FXRF – ESX – P188 – S11/12
G-BIUV was the inbound JEM 362 out as the 244
G-FIJV – AAG – Far Side (S37?)
Didn’t know about the Aer Fungus – never saw anything on CFMU about its arrival this morning?
Btw i think its the 27th that will have at least 1 TU-154 in for the LPL match against Sofia.

The skies over my house with aircraft on approach to Liverpool are always busiest in the summer. It is mostly Easyjet and Ryanair and BA ATP but in the summer, there are regular appearances by BY and MYT with FCA coming this summer as well.

Summer is the best time to visit any airport, especially ones like LPL. (July and August)
