Time to bring out 19 `s specially camo scheme Hawk to commemorate 70 years ago
and the pair produced immaculate close formation…
Joining the party Phil O`Dell in the immaculate R R (ex BBMF ) Mk19
And some other friends joined the party…
But the day was also about families and generations – planes and people!…
It was great to see the black arrows….
…. and after a great day – late night home for some…….

The spit only carried 2 (sometimes 4 on ltr mks) cannons, might have 8 .303 machine guns though 😉Someone needs to call the roundel police about the targets (er roundels 😀 ),I aint gettin involved in that one !! 😀

four colour roundel on the wings looks rediculous, non of the Spits use that and only arming the Hawk with a single cannon is also wrong as the Spitfire carries eight!

The photos are great but is anybody else completely underwhelmed at the Hawk commemorative camo scheme?
It looks unfinished with just the roundel on the fusalage, where are the aircrafts letters? The 19 on the tail just about works but including the three colour tail flash with a slightly smaller 19 would work better IMHO. Using the four colour roundel on the wings looks rediculous, non of the Spits use that and only arming the Hawk with a single cannon is also wrong as the Spitfire carries eight!
What? The Hawk can only carry a single cannon, sorry :p
