I loved it flying. Absolutely splendid. It’s a FW190, I’m pretty sure there were 190’s in WW2 changed, tampered, repaired and fixed to which the originality of it were less than perfect. It was amazing to see.

I can’t wait to see the D version they are building.

I would like to see one converted into a pylon racer with small bubble canopy and wings clipped etc

I would second that, Its take off was stunning it seemed to gain a lot of height in no time at all.
The routine was very punchy with some lovely rolls, Low passes and as already mentioned impressive climbs.
I really hope to have the chance to see her again soon.
I’ll third it ! 😮 I’m no expert, and I’ll admit to being excited at the sight of this aircraft, but I thought that the pilot put on a splendid show. It certainly gave me a good impression of how the Fw190, whether replica or real, was a force to be reckoned with.

Awesome, would love to have seen it there.
With no armour or weapons it’s gotta be a very light lil Würger.
Bring on the video footage I say

The really frustrating thing is that there is a perfectly good fw190 sitting at Duxford waiting to fly!!!!

”Just wondering…. how aggresively was the 190 flown @ Legends,”

Was flown in trail with Buchon, with a gagle of Spitfire in background doing their stuff.
The rule, as of now, is not to do any manoeuvers in the vertical. Leon mathis did indulge himself ina couple of barrel rolls, includin two in a row. It has been flown up to 600 km/h during test flight, but there is still much to be discovered as it is virtually a prototype. So caution is the word of the day and will remain so for many monthes. You have to be concious that this one plane has so far flown more hours than the two one assembled and flown by Flug Werk put together. So guess who is ironing out all teething problems… ?
Thanks for that, never thought I’d say it, but … Vive la France!!:D
Great to see one finally UP!

It seems very strange that FW are allowed to sell aircraft that have not been properly flight tested

Wonderful Aircraft hope the landing gear situation can be fixed soon. It was a pleasure to see her fly, And makes you realise how potent the FW190 was when in service.

Ok thanks for that. It seems that man and machine gave an incredible amount of joy to so many last weekend, including myself, and i’m sure we all appreciate the effort involved in bringing her to the UK.. so lets wish all those involved in her ‘remedial work’ the very best of luck.:)

Marc ‘Leon’ Mathis landed safely the FW 190 monday in La Ferte-Alais. Landing gears to come appart again, as more trouble showed…

German Plane
Glad that all’s well with the 190, although I had a scare when I first saw this on the Beeb

Creaking Door, it’s supposed to look like that.
So it is; my mistake. 😮

If ever there was an A/C that didn’t look right, it must be the two seat FW190; I know the Germans are big on “purely functional” but that is one ugly m……
