As far as I can tell,the footage is from the film ‘The Lion Has Wings’,the interior shots were done inside a real wellington fuselage (but at the studio),I am assuming that the airfield scenes were shot at Mildenhall because that is where 149 sqn were based at that time.
I had never watched the film all the way through but maybe another forum member can confirm.

So were they 149 sqn aircrews reconstructing a raid on Keil or Brunsbuttel ?
Is it safe to assume it was filmed at Midenhall ?
I had never seen footage of Mk1 Wellingtons before (as opposed to 1A’s)
