American museums don’t seem to be in the habit of displaying wreckage the way UK groups do.

If anyone really wants to get busy, there is a field near the local AFB where 2 B-52s collided doing circuits in the 50s. It was over the safety zone so no building has ever been done on it, It would keep metal detectors guys busy for weeks.

Yes very interesting, thanks for posting.

Not sure how many B-52 crashes there are on land – and I see that a local museum already has a display, but there’s some really nice pieces to be found still that would make excellent display items should anyone feel inclined.
