Talking Pictures featured a colour 1962 film the other night [i believe will be repeated] called “Some People” starring Kenneth Moore David Hemmings and Ray Brookes about youths and music scene in the early 60s. The film featured Filton and some excellent quality scenes of the Bristol 188 in colour being flight tested as well as some good hanger shots of Valiants and Britannia’s awaiting work.

Thanks for giving this film a mention, Halcyonman 🙂 As you say, some great scenes at Filton including the 188 in colour. As the film isn’t generally concerned with aviation these little gems could be easily missed. We watched it this evening on Amazon Prime Video.
