1966 Hunter Ejection Seat

My friend wants to sell her late husbands ejector seat apparently from a 1966 Hunter. It looks complete but I can’t confirm it is from a Hunter or it is all correct. Are there any project out there who would be interested? What sort of price should she be asking for it? thanks.

Yep that looks like a Buccaneer seat, nice if all the kit on it is correct, I think the soft chute packs were used on the Mk 1’s ? value is hard, if you look on Ebay people put values of thousands on ejector seats, but they just keep re listing them, auction it would be best, like most things aviation, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay, not the fantastic prices you see being asked. Buccaneer seats are pretty plentiful, I have had a few, is it front or rear seat ?

It looks like a Mk.6 seat, there isn’t much to go on in those photos but the arrangement of the rivets around the lower firing handle are the same as the photos of a Mk.6 on MB’s website. MB don’t record Hawker Hunters as one of the applications for the Mk.6, more likely to be a Buccaneer if it is from a UK aircraft.
