Correct in every sense. The aircraft should do most of the talking. It is a skill that must be learned by commentators. The 45 degree rule.

Nothing is needed, but crediting something that has been provided for general viewing is a small politeness and to be encouraged.

Whatever qualities that are required to be a good air show commentator, John Blake surely had them. His voice brings back some special memories from those heady 80s and 90s days. Lovely sound on that video, too, especially the throttled back popping Centaurus on landing.
