Yes – first Christmas card received today!
I just wonder, how early do you send yours?
I tend to send all my cards to coincide with when I have to go to the Post Office to get the International ones weighed, which is around about the 9th this year! (Yup – gets it all out of the way in one go! 🙂 )

Erm.. (cough) .. I actually wrote all mine out two weekends ago!! 😮
As I have 300 customers to send cards to, and I have a period of 5 weeks to get them out, I have written all my work ones (did it at the beginning of November) and so far about 150 of them have gone out. And I am still finding new customers that need cards.
Out of the 150ish that have gone out, I have received 4 back from customers, I think the first one received was 17 November.
Haven’t yet written out the family/friends cards.

Got my first from Dick Phillips, Mustang Historian this weekend, the card was a photo of ‘Donna Mite’, the P-51 that crashed at Oshkosh this last summer, and Dick explaining how he had flown in this Mustang a few times and knew the pilot fairly well…nice photo and such but kinda depressing as a cheery holiday card! Still, it honors the memory of the man and another loss on the airshow circuit….another plane and pilot down this last season…most unfortunate….

Anyone received a corporate Christmas or Birthday card ? I heard about this on the radio the other day, companies buy your personal data from other organisations such as the DVLA for example, and then send you a “card” on or around your birthday, as well as some enticing advertising for their product.
The guy on the radio got one from Sainsbury’s, wishing him a happy birthday and promising him a “free” box of chocolates waiting at his local store. Another guy got one from Bupa, saying something cheerful like… “Happy Birthday, now you’re at an age where your back goes out more often than you, why not take out a personal medical plan?”
Charming.
