2-3 small questions.

1) What is the radio frequency for approach/landings at LHR???

2) What airline has the callsign ‘kestrel’. I recognise it but I can’t put a name to it!!

3) What airline has the callsigh ‘snowbird’??

Thanks for any help.

I’m currently listening to the Heathrow frequencies. The inbound tower frequency is 118.7 which is called up about 7 or 8 miles before landing. Before going to that frequency they are on 120.4 as they manoevre onto the approach. The outbound tower frequency (clear for take-off) is 118.5.

hmmm…whats MyTravel and Air Atlanta Europe doing on the Heathrow Departures frequency???

Well Kestrel is definatley MyTravel and Snowbird is definatley Air Atlanta Europe, it could of been possible they were departing/arriving Gatwick or somewhere like that and got passed to that frequency? Not sure….

BTW this is a good site if you want to know Airline Callsigns in the future…..
