2 seater Hurricane?

I have found this site showing some sort of of Replica 2 seater Hurricane mk2. Watch the YouTube film clip, Anyone know anything about the aircraft and what are they based on? Would they be able to fly in the UK? It probably would be useful to speak Italian.(you have to scroll down the page a bit)

Thanks for the link, the replica Hurricane looks very good considering it’s 2/3rd scale AND a two seater. That they were able to preserve the “look” of a hurricane with these changes is a compliment to their ability. Nice that they have used a ROTAX engine. My current feeling on replicas is that if you are going to build a replica, it will only ever be a “characture” of the real thing so it would be wise to make it inexpensive and simple.

woodbridge10, Interesting news you have that P3717/DR348/G-HITT is going to be rebuilt as a Persian two seater. There are pictures of the two seat Persian Hurricane in many Hurricane books (my scanner is tough to get working- otherwise I would post a copy).

replica 2-seater Hurri

you’ii find the link is – http://www.squadron leader.it/
lovely little aeroplane, nice proportions too, be interesting to see it next to a replica Supermarine Spitfire Mk.28, to see how the scale matches up, be nice to see it at Legends too, interesting to see replica Spit’s, Hurries & FW190’s doing their bit at Legends, dream on………….
by the way G-HITT recently registered is going to be a two-seater, re-built to original drawings, the Persian AF ordered / had a two-seater Hurri, ordered in 1939 delivered 1946, be interesting if a picture existed !!
anyroad G-HITT was a Mk.1 P3717 rebuilt as A Mk.2a DR348 supplied to Russia and recovered early 1990’s and is with a well known hurricane restorer.
