What a year 2006 was. We started in miserable weather and ended with it.
April
It all started with saying goodbye to the last Battle of Britain station:
Then to training week at Old Warden. Bristol M1c flying for the first time after some work:
The next day, world cup fly in at Old Warden. Peter Holloway returning to earth in his lovely Magister with the rape seed in full bloom behind.

May:
Old Wardens first flying display. Their Sea Hurricane in lovely light:
Old Wardens first sunset flying display of the year. A parachusist after having jumped from a Jackeroo:
June:
7th June sunset display at Old Warden. This is one of my favorite photos of the year:
It also saw this very special formation:
de Haviland moth club charity event. The weather on Saturday prevented most things flying. This is Dh Dragon G-ECAN just after landing:
The next day was better. Dennis Neville gets airbourne in his lovely Chipmunk:
This was taken whilst she was waiting for her next flight:
This intersting pairing was seen together after i whent to get an ice cream:
July:
After time spent in America i returned. Then came the LPG open day at Bruntingthorpe:
The next day was flying legends:
Then came that very special day when we saw 3 Bristol Fighters together:
Later on that show the Tomtit flew in gorgous lighting:
25th July saw me return to see Hacs Bris Fit return to Duxford at the hands of Stu Goldspink:
At the same time Tracy Curtiss Tayler took her Ryan Pt22 out for a jaunt. Seen here being put away in the hanger;
August:
6th August. Back at Old warden. The Bleriot where it should be:
Then it was Gransdens lovely airshow. Peter Teichmann landing in his superb Spitfire.

1st September visited Duxford. Arriving for the spitfire aniversery show:
First visit on the 23rd September was a visit to Bruntingthorpe with Fighter Control:
