I notice that Duxfords first Airshow next year on May 21st has been themed around “Airspace”…………………
A showcase of the aircraft types that will feature in Duxford’s dramatic new AirSpace exhibition telling the story of British and Commonwealth aviation. Aircraft such as the Lancaster, Tornado, Sea Hawk, Anson and Spitfire are just a few of the aircraft that have helped shape the world in which we live and are due to take part in this aerial tribute to Britain’s aviation heritage.
Does this mean we will see all those types scheduled to be entombed in Airspace on display? On the flight line maybe? Last chance to get two Lancasters in one place? TSR2 on the Flightline with the Tornado?
Nows your chance IWM….Lets go for something different and memorable!

Concorde is due to move into AirSpace in January I believe, but at that point there will be no public access to the aircraft as far as I know…others will follow…
Napier Sabre…again not sure, but believe there may be some truth in your suggestion that the May airshow will coincide with AirSpace being opened to the public, although this won’t be the big official opening, that will follow in 2007.

When do you think we’ll get the first “Will it be at Airspace” thread?
Isn’t this it?

Probably not one to answer this but here goes…
I believe aircraft movements into Airspace will happen before the show. The show Maybe set out inorder to have a opening for the hanger like the AAM in 1997. As for the Blenheim I believe she will be put into Airspace a little later than planned.
IWM staff check up on this if wrong.

We can hope…
Talking of AirSpace – When did the Blenheim disappear from the plans?
