Yes, i realise he has part ownership in one, as Clive told me some time ago. But i didnt put ‘his JP’ just in case it wasn’t that particular example!

The day before the Broussard’s engine was successfully started and a couple of small snags identified. Engine test run procedures will continue during the next two or three weeks. Once they are complete permission will be sought to test fly from the CAA.

A cracking day, marred only by a serious lack of Turdises and eateries! I’ll have some pics up in photography soon.
Well done to all involved! 😀

Yesterday was also my first opportunity to try out my DSLR properly and here are some of my efforts.

Lovely shots David, the 16 Sqn Buccaneer looks nice!

Maybe the historical significance was lost on most people – 2 out of 3 capital air surveys beech 18’s back together again on the same airfield

Did anyone get any pics

not had time to go through all mine from a fantastic day at Brunty, but here are the two Beech 18’s

If the old RAF tug you use is the one with the extended cab and not the one with the chock stowage area behind the cab beware when you get the jag Tbird pitot fitted, we found to our cost in Germany when we swung the tug it went straight through the rear window 😮 it will when connected up to the Tug fit fine and clears ok, but when you turn it doesn’t, it comes through the back window.

The weather was great and we had a lot of interest over at the beech restorations hangar

I was not able to get over to the flight line yesterday

Many thanks to Andy Foan for bringing the Beech in

And thanks to him for the spirited departure and arrival

Anyone get any decent pics of it

Maybe the historical significance was lost on most people – 2 out of 3 capital air surveys beech 18’s back together again on the same airfield

Working to get all 3 together

Will post pics of ours tomorrow

Lots of interest in the kettenkrad

Did anyone get any pics

Yesterday was my first visit to Brunty and what a marvellous event it was. I spent most of my time in admiration of the splendid work done by the Lightning Preservation Group. What a splendid bunch. Yesterday was also my first opportunity to try out my DSLR properly and here are some of my efforts.
