2012 was a good year for BOEING

After a strong 2012, Boeing faces challenging new year.
HeraldNet-28 déc. 2012 ;
Boeing won’t announce its final delivery and order numbers for 2012 until sometime in early January.
and ;
USA TODAY-31 déc. 2012 ;
Boeing’s tally for commercial jet deliveries this year is 585. It’s the highest total ever, excluding 1999.

585/year .. means 1.60/day ! .. Not so bad, isn’it ?;)

with friendly wishes for 2013 ,

Sorry that really annoys me! So basically, it’s NOT the highest total EVER!

But good work by Boeing.

More about Boeing’s website & figures..

with friendly greetings to Mrtotty & Matt-100

I think a short explanation is necessary to have a ‘straight’ access to their most recent deliveries figures;
do it so;
http://active.boeing.com/commercial/orders/index.cfm?content=displaystandardreport.cfm&pageid=m25065&RequestTimeout=20000

& then ; > model > O US Domestic & Int’l deliveries > view report > you have the figures -for now- ‘Through Nov 2012’

try it -again- e.g. end of this week for the final 2012 ‘ ones.

(I) don’t consider -at the end of the list- the DC-8/9 & 10, MD-11/80 & 90 as ‘real’ boeing models .. what do you think ?

Etienne

Great news, a lot of the growth has come from the east. It will be interesting to see if Boeing does something similar to Airbus and now builds a plant in the region?

That’s pretty good. I suppose now the B787 is finally on song, Boeing’s delivery figures will remain high.
