2015 75th Anniversary of the BOB

Well i know its seems a long way off but im just wondering cos i have nothing better to do if there is going to be something similar arranged as in 2010 at Duxford for this anniversary. Im going to mute my feelings and say that there must be some way that there can be more than 4 Hurricanes and 16 spitfires brought together ?

I have seen 3 Bucons at DX so maybe its time to badger organisers to get 20 spitfires in the air 3 Bucons and 6 Hurricanes Maybe even get the BBMF to bring along all their fighters for a special flypast at this former BoB airfeild

Just my thoughts what do you all say ?

The fact that 109s are fairly scarce, perhaps?

The clue being (in recent years) I would rather they restore (Maybe with help ?) a 109-E than rescue the Do-17 when it has been suggested others are around possibly in better condition (Please correct me if I am wrong) maybe not directly linked to the BoB but representative of the type

Hi All,
Does the BBMF just celebrate the RAF in the BoB or the actual battle itself ? in which case why have they never had a 109 in recent years I would have thought it be a must if were going all Pc judging by the Vc story.
