Hi to all, I’ve had a request put on my message board, It reads as follows: My Grandfather was Sergeant William Bell (953518) He was employed as a Flight engineer with 207 Sqn which was operating with Bomber command and based at Station Langer,Barstone,near Nottingham. On the 24th October 1942 he was killed along with the rest of the crew in Lancaster MK1 Ser Num W4121 EM-B I would love to hear from anyone who may have some information about this. Just been looking at “207 sqd RAF Langer”.
The crew who died on that raid to Milan were.
