Sywell Aviation Museum presents a talk by David Knight, 20th FG Association.

The 20th FG and the 55th and 79th Fighter Squadrons were based at Kingscliffe, Northants for the majority of their service in the ETO. Initially operating the Lockheed P-38 Lightning, they transitioned in 1944 to the superlative North American P-51 as the fight was taken to and into Nazi occupied Europe. The evening promises a richly illustrated talk on the group, its men and machines and tales of operations (commemorated in SAM with the 20th FG’s original ‘ops boards’ on display) by long term 20th FG Association member and Museum Trustee, David Knight –

Tickets £5 on the door, limited numbers, first come first served, raffle, free on site parking, bar, restaurant. For more information contact Andy Shemans, Museum Chairman on 07966636696.
