I served with 214 Sqdn at RAF Upwood during 1947/48 on Avro Lancasters, the Sqdn badge had on it 214 FMS (Federate Malay States) with a leaping Tiger on it, but I have not seen it presented in that form since,
Has anyone got a coloured pic of it in that form Please

The 214 badge features a Nightjar bird. If you look at the 214 Squadron Association web site, it’s on the first page.
The squadron’s history ‘The Cry of the Nightjar’ was republished a few years back.
