218F Brass Tank – What Aircraft?

What aircraft would a 218F Brass Tank be from? It isn’t very big; would probably hold about a pint of liquid.

The Air Ministry reference number starts ’37J/’ and it has a serial number too.

Sorry, I don’t have the thing so no photograph. Any ideas?

Can’t say for sure as I’m at work but I think 37J covers aircraft hydraulic equipment and fittings.

As for 218F – no idea, sorry.
