This weekend Landing Fee waived for aircraft in WWII colours & period civil aircraft.

21st & 22nd MAY 2011 – Living History Event, Halfpenny Green.

A couple of WWII re-enactor groups (Northern Forties and Luftwaffe Airfield Re-enactment Group) will be in residence and we are inviting military vehicles, classic cars, static engines, entertainers, Winston Churchill look-alike and so on. There is no air show but we are trying for a BBMF fly-past with proceeds going to the charity Help For Heroes. There is a fly-in both days open to all types with no landing fee for aircraft in military marks or civil aircraft of the period (otherwise £5 landing fee). There will be a hangar dance on the Saturday evening.
