27N/17 Fire Extinguisher Pushbutton Covers…

Were they coloured Red, or left Black?

The Whirlwind AP does’nt say, but I’ve read that sometimes they were painted red, what should I go for…?

Here’s an original one. I cannot recall seeing one which wasn’t red.
