Similar, it would take an SR71 4 minutes including getting up to Speed to travel Lincolnshire to London – 27 seconds at full speed!

The Hurricane is masquerading as an aircraft of 111 Squadron, the first squadron to be equipped with the Hurricane in 1937 at Northolt. On 10th February 1938, the C.O of 111 Sq made history when he flew his Hurricane from Edinburgh to Northolt in 48 minutes!

When I posted a picture of the Lanc.,a short while ago, I thought it was about ’93, but Ant reckoned it was more ’83. So I would assume him to be correct.
