.303 Cartridge Identification

Picked up what appears to be a .303 cartridge close to some German fortifications this afternoon.

The markings on the base are II C 6 or G

From a bit of research on the interweb, this appears to be a Mk2 cartridge filled with Cordite and possibly manufactured by Greenwood and Batley, Leeds.

Anyone able to confirm this from these marks.

Also picked up a 5mm catridge with what appears to be 1C1 on the base and several blanks with L1A81 RG 06 which I believe to be standard 5.56mm blanks manufactured by ROF Radway Green in 2006 .
