I have often thought that “The Right Stuff” was the wrong title for the TV film(though I guess “those guys had real balls” didn’t quite have the same ring to it).
It’s a full moon tonight.
Just imagine the difference it would have made if everytime you looked up at the Moon you remembered that two men were still up there and that Collins had been made to make the journey home alone ?
Iin a way Collins is the forgotten one, with hindsight he probably had the hardest job of all, potentially.
They are heroes all.
