Another 3D model has finished building, this time one from Chuuk Lagoon (Also know as Truk). The images were shot by a friend of mine whilst on holiday, and built overnight as he flew home:-
And the Scapa Flow Wildcat print has been reworked – I’m happier with this version. Scroll down the page to see the Wildcat and detail:-
For those interested, the top print is of a salvage barge that was moored alongside the German WW2 destroyer F-2 that sank in 1946. In the holds on the barge you can see the twin barrels of anti-aircraft guns that had been salvaged from said destroyer, only to sink again when a gale swamped the barge in 1968.

Yes that’s a C6N. Very nice scan!
I did something similar with the sole surviving “Rufe” wreck:

Begging your pardon, but I don’t think that’s a Jill. It looks to me more like a C6N Saiun (Myrt) long-range recon plane. That aft part of the canopy gives it away. Great 3D model!
