4-seat Mustang

Okay folks

in the other thread we were discussing the infamous 4-seat Mustang:

“A68-175 CA-18 Mk.23 c/n 1500; delivered 04/50. Transferred to Tocumwal and stored. Struck off 01/59. Owned by Col Pay at Narromine NSW 1960-65. Transfered to Ed Fleming of Skyservice Aviation at Camden NSW 1965-67. To Canada as CF-WWH 01/05/67 to 1971. By ship to Vancouver and rebuilt as a 4 seater with a CF100 canopy. Registered in the USA as N64824. Was to be registered N5789, but not taken up. It did fly with this un-authorised registration however. The identity was transfered to an ex TNI-AU aircraft and the aircraft rebuild using other airframe parts. Still flown with the markings 413678 and named ‘Million Dollar Baby’. The owner is reported to have said that this new aircraft has no parts from the original A68-175.”

The scan will be uploaded tonight, but for starters, here are three photos that are from

After the seahorse, this is the second time I learn about a ‘new’ mustang variation. Thanks for the info.
