405 Sqn Lancaster info

Hi All,

I know that we are having quite a few of these enquiries but it would be greatly appreciated if you could help shed some light on this aircraft loss for the family of the Bomb aimer Sgt Wilfred Good.

Lancaster JB188 (LQ-S), 405 Sqn, airborne from Gransden lodge at 19:54 and lost on a raid to Magdeburg on the night of 21/22 January 1944. All crew KIA and buried in the Berlin War Cemetery.

Is there anyway we can find the fate of the aircraft? Flak, shot down, icing?
