43 Group RAF, civilian recovery crews and records.

Does anyone know whether either 43 Group ORB in the National Archives contains any specific information about aircraft recoveries by civilian staffed maintenance units?

I ask because the 67 MU ORB does not, and I was wondering whether that is because the recoveries themselves were by civilian crews, attached to the MU depots but directly answering to Cowley? Might some of the famously ‘missing’ recovery paperwork, of which there was anecdotally a lot, actually have gone back to Cowley with the airframes and be sitting in the National Archive deep in the two 43 Group ORB folders, which have largely been overlooked because they appear to be about metal recycling?

Or has someone already looked?

Never looked at the 43 Group records, it’s referred to often enough when aircraft were written off. I have looked at the 67 MU ORB in the past and it does contain the odd reference to recoveries but never much.
