There is a good example in the Osprey No 43 “Fighting Cocks” Squadron book in their Aviation Elite Units series by….erm…can’t remember! 😮

Or try to get a set of the Players fag cards set from the 1930’s showing RAF Squadron Badges. There is a good example there, too.

Minor detail, but it is actually a squadron badge rather than a squadron crest. Thats just me being pedantic!
