On the 18th of January 1940 two Hurricanes of 43 Squadron flown by Sgt Steeley L2066 & Sgt Mullinger L1734 collided near Acklington.
Both Pilots sadly were killed.
Can anyone please help with a possible source for photographs of these two pilots.

This has cropped up before, As I was researching the crash and asked If I could use the 43 sqn crest from your book.
I did manage to locate the exact sites of both aircraft with the stories going to print in the spring of 2011
