Currently I am researching 44 Sqdn Lancaster W4819,KM-G (Sgt R.Hordon and crew)which was lost on a raid to Cologne and crashed near Luyksgestel in The Netherlands. I obtained the ORB’s from 44 sqdn(Thanks Alan) from the Hordon crew and stated that it was W4106 who was Hordons a/c and took part in the raid. From different sources I found out that W4106 KM-T written off 23rd March 1943 after a crash landing at Waddington. Can some-one put a light on this??? Was it W4819 or W4106 crashed at Luyksgestel?? Further I am eager to get in touch with the relatives of Sgts L.Cox, P.B.Copp, I.G.Traill, F.R.W.Checketts and Sgt E.G.Harold. Further WO II E.C.Lawrence(RCAF).
Thanks very much,
Adrian
