Excellent work there Sam, really can’t beat low Winter lighting! Much prefer Winter lighting to that and the heathaze in the Summer, shame it has to be so bloody cold though.

Excellent shots as ever, Sam. 🙂 I totally agree (as I normally worryingly do…) with Paul on the watermarks, but as he says I can understand why people do use them!

I’m well up for a trip to MAN this weekend, shame the forecast is so bad! Ever since playing with Paul’s 350D, all i’ve wanted to do is go out and take photos! Unfortunately, the sun hasn’t come out in about two weeks. :dev2:

If the weather’s not too bad at the weekend me and my 30D’ll be at MAN as well!

I didn’t intend it to come across as negative, Sam, and I apologise if it did. I was just expressing my personal opinion, which isn’t necessarily the ‘correct’ way to do things (whatever that means!)

Thanks All. I totally understand Paul. I know alot of people don’t like watermarks but i’ve known quite a few guys that have had there pictures stolen, and im not saying that people would steal my shots but it’s not something i’d like to risk considering I whent out in the cold, spent money to get to the airport etc…

Very nice, Sam! Nice and sharp.

Has to be said though, I understand the reason for the watermarks and can’t blame you for using them, but to me that just isn’t how photography should be viewed and it really lessens the impact of the photos for me when text is sprawled across them. It’s a shame people have to use them at all!

Also (and I’m being really, REALLY picky here, so don’t take this too seriously) the sign under the nose wheel of the Helvetic F100 for some odd reason totally throws what would have been an otherwise perfectly balanced shot, but small things like that do irritate me for some reason. It’s all personal at the end of the day!
